Pride of Britain Awards 2015

In 2015, Samrick Singh Bahia was nominated for Fundraiser of Year as part of the Pride Of West Midlands, with the winner entering the much loved - Pride of Britain Awards sponsored by the Daily Mirror. Samrick was shocked to be nominated and it was completley unexpected when he received the information, even less expected was Samrick won the Pride of the West Midlands and moved on to the Pride of Britain Awards.

The Ceremony took place on 30th September 2015 in the capital city of London. All the stars were there including Phillip Scoffield, Holly Willoughby and a vast range of other celebrities from Joey Essex to Roy Hodgson then England Manager. Samrick's favourite, we think was the mighty Chris Tarrant who Sam shared his story with and had many conversayions throughout the night.

The ceremony was long but very inspiring and Samrick and his fundraising had also inspired people who learned about his stories - however unfortunatley Samrick fell just short of the National Award but already felt it was a great honour just to be nominated. Samrick was, as always greatful for his Family, Friends and to all those who have offered support.
